I picked this drill press/mortiser up at a Seattle School surplus 6 years ago. It works fine for a light duty mortiser but I have been looking for a more serious mortiser with a crosswise table. I recently purchased a large Fay & Egan mortiser and had planned to sell the Delta but I have decided to keep it. This model was marketed to the amateur woodworker and came with all sorts of attachments.

I've been looking for the keyless Jacobs chuck which was sold as an accessory for this model and plan to use it when I need a tilting table drill press.
