The story :

Machine just bought of ebay on May 6 , 2006
Located in Syracuse NY ( 3 Hrs /way trip )
Machine was picked up on May 10 and brought home .
Ya sometimes meet the nicest people when buying machinery, really nice guy
He had paid $50 for it 20 years ago and never hooked it up as he didn't
have three phase power.It came from a local school board close out of
their machine shop classes .

The machine :
1966 Oliver 2085 Grinder station with the square base stand
4 station right now .
larger red Oliver tag.
original 1/3 HP 1735/1435 3 phase motor60/50 hz motor .
Missing is the starter , so it will get an AB 609 Dust tight
starter like all the rest of the machines here .
Has the cone cover , but missing the cone grinding wheel .
Has original Oliver grinding wheels with the paper labels still attached .

Machine has been totally stripped down and the New
CRIME photo's of
it painted Hutch green will appear here in the next few days .
Sorry Chuck , It just looked soooooooo out of place here with
sea of green machines here.
I was able to save the tags , by going in the inside of the machine
and knocking the hard rivets off with a chisel backside( will resharpen with said machine )LOL
Looking for that Cone grinding wheel , I saw one last month on ebay , but thought
don't buy parts to a machine that you may never own . ahhhhhhhhhh shit luck ah!
