I bought this from a local small dealer and have used it for every kind of job I have had come up and every function still works perfectly. Truly a unique and awesome piece of American tool & die making. This machine was bought new by Boeing in 1963 from Buckner Weatherby Co. Machinery out of Seattle. This machine spent most of it's working life at Boeing, being marked rebuilt by them 5-22-72 in Seattle. It had a early DRO added by them in 1977 with beautifully made aluminum brackets for all the scales and a hefty aluminum arm to hold the readout. This machine has the rare wide table option which increases the table size from the standard 30" to 36" long and increases the table travel from 18" to 24", adding several hundred pounds to the machine's weight. It appears that Boeing spared no expense on this unit and took very good care of it, even adding an emergency stop button.
