found another Wilton vise... The scarcest 2 1/2" ("toddler") vise. Probably one of these 2 1/2" sizes for every 10 to 20 2" vises. Found with very little paint on it, so i repainted it. I don't usually do that. anyway There is no date code on the inner guide bar. But it is the early Chicago made Wilton vise....most likely from the late 1950' or early 1960's, before they moved to Schiller park. The currently made newer Wiltons barely compare to these early made vises.. (i also purchased repop wilton decals from ebay under the (jimenginedecals) seller which makes a great product.....
