Ok, I will start this off by saying I'm by no means a professional. I'm just trying to get some answers. After all, I'm only 14??. I live on a farm and I found this old RSC 474-1 Lauson engine that also had a London Concrete Machinery co Ontario badge on the water pump. What I assume happened is the motor came in an original dark green(I see it under the flaking orange paint) and then London Concrete Machinery co decided they would paint over it all in orange and add their sticker on the gas tank and put their water pump on it. It sat for around 45 years in a shed until I decided to get it running. All it took was a new spark plug. Didn't even have to take apart the carb or even clean the gas bowl! I can't seem to find anything about London Concrete Machinery Co. made any water pumps or the logo of their company that is on the gas tank nor could I find this model of the Lauson engine. I would love to preserve this piece of history! Feel free to message me!
