This is a fine example of a Yates American #40 Band Saw.
I got it from a storage building at Basset Furniture, in Galax, VA.
Very robust bearing housings with a 2" shaft turning the solid bottom wheel.
Wheels have a 2 1/2" wide face.
It will make an excellent Resaw machine and has a 20" throat.
It has a tilting table, as well as a dovetailed sliding table feature -
Not sure what that is for...
Seems nobody wants to buy it, so will keep it, me thinks...
