Comments:
I purchased this machine through the Minneapolis Public Schools Surplus Auction. While being transferred to the auction facility, it was dropped on its face. The damages are: cracked spider (reinforcement to upper guard), cracked rocker (table trunnion), two broken latches for upper door, crushed rear guard, and torn tilt gauge. The parts are all still available from Northfield for a total of about $750.

The saw has Carter Wheels with lok-on tires. It also has Carter guides. It has a 5HP direct drive Rheuling 3ph 900rpm motor with an Allen Bradley starter.

While I would have not wished to have it laid down the way it was, it actually trailered much nicer than my upright Fay & Egan Lightning 950 did. Also, I suspect the damages kept the competition at bay. This was a silent auction.
