Found in a field and acquired for nothing. Was missing the fence but had all other hardware. Cleaned it up and repainted both the jointer and the motor close to original color as possible.
Found another of the same model on Facebook marketplace in roughly the same condition, with the fence. Bought for $30 and pulled the fence, cleaned and repainted. Put on the first rebuild jointer. The cabinet was painted grey, so I sanded with 60 grit, then 120 grit, then used pecan stain/clearcoat to finish. Some of the grey paint shows thru the stain to give it an older distressed look. Ordered new blades and sharpened existing blades. Dialed in the tables to give a clean, baby butt smooth cut. Finished with DuPont Non-Stick Dry-Film lubricant on all non-painted surfaces.
