This nice machine was offered close to me for a sensitive price. Though I had never considered before to actually own and use a radial drill press, I went there, had a look and bought it.
Additionally to the Rockwell serial plate there is is a label that says "Schleicher". The Schleicher company was a large German dealer for woodworking machines in the 1970s so I assume they imported the radial press to Germany. That would explain the somewhat extended and redesigned belt guard.
