Comments:
Recently purchased from a local machine shop outside Detroit. The Maker Philip A. Geier made artillery shells in WWI then afterward began making shop tools, mills, punch presses, large buffers, but had the largest success after having a need for a vacuum and made himself one. Royal Vacuum eventually becoming Dirt Devil was his biggest claim to fame, but reading of his history he also played a large role in washing machines and vibrators. As well as contributing to the network of Salesman.
