Acquired this Table saw on OfferUp Website. Mr. Harold Gilliland Crane, started manufacturing his machines in the 1920's in Adrian, Michigan. In 1924 the Company continued to operate as "W. B. & J. E. Boice". In August of 1936, the Company Name was formally changed to Boice-Crane Co. and Mr. Harold Crane passed away in 1937. This was a small Table Saw called a Universal Handisaw or maybe a "Jr" 8 inch table saw, it had some weird features I'd never seen before, and it was stated by the manufacturer, that the Saw could perform 12 different operations, I assume with some different accessories that came with it. I don't know what the Original color was, but I just picked out a Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Satin Midnight Blue #334091. The Motor is a General Electric #1106707, 1/2 HP, 110/225 Volts, 1800 RPM. I painted it, Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Semi Gloss Black color #334097. Update: Almost forgot, something that surprised me about this table saw; First: I'd never seen a saw like this one before, and Second: The Blade Arbor Nut was Left Handed Threads, and I thought they were Right handed threads, and had a buddy come over with a 1/2 inch Impact gun, and almost ruined the arbor trying to get the Nut off, as it was tightening the Nut even more. So almost, with every Restoration, I learn something New.
