I got this beast for free from Mr. Robert Oliver, a local woodworker who posted an ad here on OWWM. He purchased this saw a few years ago with the intention to restore it but lost interest. After talking with Mr. Oliver on the phone, I was expecting to find a 12" model. When I got everything home and started to compare my box-o-parts with the 1941 catalog on OWWM.com, I realized that this is the top-o-the-line 16" Production model. As you can see, I got it after it was completely disassembled and there are a ton of loose parts. The frame has at least 7 layers of paint and appears to have spent some of its life outdoors. I will need to make a stand, find some tires and blades and try to find an after market light fixture to install in the front guard.

Update: Sadly, after much deliberation and soul searching, I realized that I would never have the time or resources to restore this saw. As a result, I am sending the cast pieces off to China to return as so many toasters and other junk at your local Walmart. Most of the other parts, including the wheels and blade tension assembly will live on as they were passed on to another member who has a working model.
