Yet another Craftsman-badged Parks 12” planer. Model number plate missing. S/N 29500. Guessing it to date to mid-1950s, pre-1957 since it lacks blade jack screws introduced in that year as well as other details.
Traded for a good many years ago, finally restored in 2021. Original color was a machinery gray. As a matter of personal preference I chose to paint it a dark blue matched to what Walker Turner used for their Craftsman-badged machines. Built a custom base.
Powered by a huge-for-it’s-output 1hp GE motor that delivers plenty of torque to do the job.
