This saw was manufactured by Industrial Manufacturing Co. of Portland Oregon, which was located adjacent to the equally uninspired (name) Production Manufacturing Inc. The saw itself is made of cast iron, while the wheels, table, and door shroud assembly are cast aluminum. Another of these saws has shown up, also in Washington State.
We know very little about the manufacturer:
Harold J. Olsen was the man behind Industrial Manufacturing Co., located at 3935 S.E. 17th Ave. Portland Oregon.
Dates of 1961 and 1976 showed up in the Directory of Oregon Manufacturers. The saw strikes me as much older than either of those dates. I hope to learn more some day.
