I bought this machine about 40 years ago from the farm shop sale of an old friend. Given the age of the person and the machine it is a possibility he was the original owner.
The motor was gifted to me at a barn sale, feeling was it was too old to be any good, with a cleaning and oiling it runs like a shiny new penny. Last revision on motor plate is 11-12-20. Nifty tensioner was obsoleted during the rebuild of a very old rock grinding/polishing machine. Since the picture was taken I acquired a 1" shorter belt which fits better.
The 4x4 post is set in concrete in a 12' pvc pipe, roughly period correct switch was found at Habitat for Humanity on a different machine.
