Comments:
I purchased the machine from a gentleman who inherited it from his grandfather. It included the original splay leg stand and 62-610 motor made by A.O. Smith. It also had a galvanized dust chute, galvanized belt cover, caster kit, and rear table cutter guard (?!?!) that seemed to be of maybe 1980s vintage since they featured the many-digit part numbers of later Rockwell. I assume all of those parts were added later. I sold the caster kit and extra guard to recoup what I paid for the machine. It also had non-standard pulleys (1.75"/6" instead of the original 2.75"/7" combination), resulting in a way too high cutter speed. I bought a replacement dust chute to the replace the absurdly small galvanized one, as well as a 2.25" cutter pulley to get nearly back to the original ratio. At this point, I have decided not to restore the motor, which was a bridge too far after a couple of months restoring the rest of the machine in the evening. I designed a motor shaft cover that I got 3D printed in PLA.

Comments: Added a mobile base for maneuverability. Evidence suggests this machine had fallen over before, because the fence clamp sleeve was bent and had to be replaced. The infeed table hand wheel crank was also slightly bent, so I'm betting it was a secondary imp

Comments: Comparison of the period correct splay leg stand chute vs. the later galvanized version. The older one is more effective and of much simpler construction.

Comments: The paint had a strong green cast, except behind the aluminum plates which was gray.
