I acquired this machine from a defunct cabinet shop in Cape Girardeau, MO. It had pretty good bones and was mostly complete but the deeper I got into the project the more issues I discovered that really needed to be addressed and repaired. The major issues were rust, hairline fractures in some of the more delicate cast iron parts, and a remachined shaft for the Reeves Drive assembly that the manufacturer neglected to drill one of two grease ports that lubricated two needle bearings. This planer was refurbished during the period of November 2024 - November 2025.
