I picked this up for nearly nothing, and it turned out to be one of the workhorses of my early garage shop. I actually liked the engineered improvements, like the quick lever for the arm lock, even though they needed a bit of work to get in operation. This is the only Mr. Sawdust table that I have ever made, and it is rock solid. The other reason I had a hard time letting it go is because it had legs and I could roll it around the shop easily (whereas the 925 had no legs and was heavy to move around). This version of the DeWalt RAS is featured in Jon Eakes's "Fine Tuning Your Radial Arm Saw," and it is capable of doing precise work. The principles apply to other tools, but it was good to learn concepts like positive clamping on this saw.

lever arm lock at the front of the saw is convenient, though needs to be tuned to properly function.
