Acquired from a pewter smith who was retiring his shop in Middle River, Maryland. He showed me how he would make his forms out of wood, and spin pewter on a South Bend engine lathe. His partner had purchased this machine and presumably restored it for production use in their shop. The machine has a unique alteration that allows fine adjustment to the belt length. It's in great condition and has dust hoods built into the machine that make it easy to connect to the dust collection. Pictures are as acquired in August 2020.
