Comments:
Purchased November 2025 from Local Facebook Marketplace seller in Metro Detroit area.
He said he acquired it from an old manufacturing building in Detroit he purchased and renovated.
Serial number is 2472, possibly 2472 O. Came with very minimal tooling, missing tool post, live center or drill chuck. Appears to have been disassembled and incorrectly reassembled, with cross slide gibbs both on one side of ways.
Ways are in ok condition, with one chip in cross slide dovetail. Dents or other marks are present across ways.
Appears to be original paint in poor condition.
Legs are very sturdy cast iron with no foot drive or motor mounting locations, mounted with what appear to be 1/2"-12TPI bolts. Headstock end legs have South Bend Lathe work plaque with power feed rate information.
