Comments:
I haven’t decided which machine is gonna get this one, I have 3 machines to choose from that are worthy of it, (I’m addicted to drill presses). The motor received bodywork to remove the dents in the center band, fresh paint, new SKF sealed front and rear bearings, 15ft. grounded power cable, cable grommet and a toggle power switch.
I’ve read that these motors were made by Walker Turner in house at the Plainfield, NJ plant, my thought is probably with some influence or assistance from an outside vendor because the case and internal components are very similar to Sunlight/Packard motors. This is my first Green Band, I would love to find a 1/4hp version.
