An elderly man who did gunsmith work had this lathe with a huge shaper, lathe from an old line shaft shop and a huge amount of tooling. The atlas was the newest tool in the basement. The shop sat unused for many years and I was able to get the Atlas and tooling as the family wanted to clean everything out to sell the house.

The ways are worn near the headstock.it is not super accurate but I am a beginner and don’t do anything requiring tight tolerances.
I recommend Mr Pete 222 on YouTube as he has many videos on this machine.
