Bought this Drill Press from Facebook MarketPlace on 1-13-2026 and Finished Restore on 1-19-2026. It had been Modified with a steel plate to mount the Motor, which is a Craftsman motor, and is a 1/2 HP, 1725rpms. I was not sure what the Original Color was, and since it had been Modified, I picked a Rust-Oleum, Gloss Charcoal Gray #7784830, which I use mainly on Old Craftsman machines. It's a Beautiful color and my Favorite.I know VintageMachinery has all the Details of the History of Champion Blower & Forge Co. if you need more Information.
