This motor has some features that are NOT normal for a type AR: 1) 3450 RPM (2-pole), 2) Ball bearings instead of sleeve, and grease cups to force fresh grease, 3) Frame style is like the higher-HP versions of the AR. It uses "cartridge type" brush holders made of die-cast type material. One was broken, so I used the good one to make a 3D-print model, and printed a replacement with PETG filament. Since the plastic is non-conductive, I attached a wire from the back of the brush spring to one of the screws mounting the cartridge to the frame. The replacement is the one visible in the picture.
