This jointer, shown here with its companion Unisaw, belongs to Gary Tash who provided us the photos. What follows is his description.

The Delta 6" jointer with cast iron base and the Delta Unisaw are of the same vintage and were working companions during the Depression and Depression and WWII era, used by a maker of store display cases and cabinets. Both machines were in decrepit condition when I received them. They have been restored to full working condition after an arduous refurbishment that required removal of a heap of rust and dirt, wire brushing, hot water washes, brazing the cracked cast iron stand panels, painting and replacement of missing parts that I either made or was able to buy. The jointer motor required a full restoration and new knives and bearings for the knife head were installed.
