Comments:
Purchased In Coventry RI from the third owner. He owned it for 35 years and used it less than part time. Needs a deep cleaning, and I will add updated photos after set up. I sourced the Belt Guarding from a tool maker in Uxbridge Mass, and made/installed an aluminum backsplash covering the electric motor as well. I made the alum tool holders for the collets, Lantern style tool holders and the QR tool holders. The stainless back belt cover is actually a 12" stainless stock pot. The attached LED overhead lighting makes it ease to see your work and clean up on completion.

Source: Scott Duckworth Take at its home of 35+ years. It was not neglected, It just wasn't used

Comments: 1960 SB Model 9A 744A As it sits today in my home hobby shop. I added the E-Stop at hip level. If you get caught up in the chuck just lean or bump into the machine

Comments: 1960 SB 9A after photo. Note the area on this side of the lathe is a walk way in my garage so guarding is serious business
