Comments: Given to me from my father around 2004. No idea where he got it from. Never saw it in his house or seen him use it. This was given to me at the same time as the Craftsman Router 315.17310 which was manufactured in 1981. The instruction guide that came with this router guide has a date of Sept. 1980, but the instructions for the router has a date of May 1981. I suspect then, that this guide was purchased from Sears in 1981. The 1979 catalog does not include this item. There is no Sears 1980 Catalog posted yet; this accessory may have first, been included in that year's catalog. The 1981 Catalog (page 17) is the first documentation I could find at $14.99. This item was still in the 2004-2005 Sears Catalog, at $19.99. When I received this Multipurpose Router Guide all of the parts came loose in a box, along with other tools. I had no idea what all of the parts were for, but I kept them thinking someday I might figure out what they were for. Lucky for me the 9-25179 Owners Manual came with this accessory. While taking pictures this week of this router guide I opened the manual and saw diagrams of these parts that I never new what they were for. Miraculously, I was able to find all of the parts diagrammed in the manual, scattered in four completely different drawers and work benches. I have titled all of the parts in the first photo.
