Posted for sale simply as “Bench Grinder,” my interest was primarily the pedestal. I assumed the guards were shop made until after returning home from picking up the buffer and researching here and OWWM.

Seller said machine belonged to his grandfather and believed that it had once been in use at the Kellogg Company.

I didn’t find any other pictures of the long-shaft buffer with factory guards, so posted these photos of buffer in its current, as acquired condition.
