I purchased an interesting old shop tool and I am struggling to even figure out what it was used for. The Peerless motor has a small drill chuck on one end of the shaft and a guarded deburring tool on the other end. There is a pulley on the deburring side which drives a parallel shaft above the motor which has a large drill chuck with a grinding wheel in it. In the middle of that shaft, there is also a disk passing thru a slot in a small table. The whole thing is mounted on a stand with two rails which support an angled work piece holder of some sort. There is an integrated flexible light to illuminate the work. There is the remains of an art deco style switch box which makes me think this is a late thirties, or early fourties device. Anyone have any thoughts? I thought it was a blade sharpener before I saw all the functions. Now I have nothing. Help! :)
