Comments:
Got this Beast from an estate after the owner had died. It came with a plywood table rear extension that I've piled cut wood on.

I had waited for the price to drop from $600 to $300 to $250 which was finally below my squeal point. I snapped it up without the slightest idea how I'd ever get it home. Turns out I got the help I needed from three friends and it is in near perfect shape with a nice assortment of 7 blades. I feel damn lucky. The Beast has a few layers of tan and green slightly cracking paint but runs beautifully on 110v presumably with the original motor. When pressed too hard, it does trip the 20amp breaker. I'm wondering if I can or should rewire the motor to run on 220V?

The sons of the owner didn't know anything about its history. I'd love to hear any history of the saw that can be dug up.
