I bought this shaper on ebay for $300 from a person in NY state. He stated it was single phase 220. I liked because of the price and the large table top. It looks like it has original paint. Not bad for 6 hr trip. This machine has a forward and reverse switch. It is made by the Yates American Company, Beloit, Wis, U.S.A. This machine stands 34 inches high, the base is 19 inches by 19 inches and the table top measures 28 1/2 inches by 38 inches. On the electric box are the words Arrow Hart & Hegeman, Hartford, Conn. Any info anyone can give me would be appreciated.
UPdate 1/3/08:
One year after purchasing the shaper I finally got a chance to work on it and I discovered the shaper is 3 phase, which means the guy who sold it to me never ran it and lied. The good news is that I have a phase converter and after wiring up the machine it started right up. A little more cleaning and I will update the pics.
