Comments:
Bought this machine in Brooklyn, NY in the Summer of 2001. It is very heavy, all cast iron. The major flaw this machine has is the tilt wheel mechanism tends to be broken. That was true of this machine as well. A cracked top wheel tilt mechanism was repaired by drilling and tapping screws into the pot metal piece. I disassembled the machine entirely, stripped it and painted it, as its previous life was spent in an oily environment, possibly cutting metal. I put new orange urethane tires on machine, had the wheels turned true with a slight crown according to the tire manufacturer, new bearings, and lubricated everything. Machine works wonderful. With a 1hp motor, it can cut through anything you can feed under the guides effortlessly. My first OWWM restoration. I am now hooked on the old stuff.

Comments: Front of saw. Mounted on original cast iron base and mobile base. The base works very well and allows a very heavy machine to be moved easily.
