Found this unit on Craigs List out here, the guy has been sitting on it for 15 years, he got it from a patternmakers shop who bought it new. It has the aluminum 3 hump gearbox and the old style bearing housings but a last type base housing and bronze sleeves on the roller bearings, and the adjustable dust hood. I'm guessing it's a 48 or 49 version based on this info. I got it for a crisp new Ben Franklin and my old Delta 22-540 bench planer, (which I bought for $75 two years ago). I plan on a full refurb once I get it operating, it's missing the start switch and the blades are out of the head. Once I run a couple hundred bf of Brazilian cherry through it I'll tear it down and give it a spit shine.

Comments: Another shot of unit as it is today. I need to make a belt cover one of these days... Love the dust collector!
