Comments:
Found at a old factory in Norwich,Ct.,one of two woodworking machines that were on the 3rd floor.I had to take the saw completley apart and carry down two floors with switch back stairs. The saw is complete with tilting fence and miter gauge. Its countershaft is built on to the back of the saw and was still hooked up to the line shaft with its leather belt. This saw is in very good working condition and has no broken or missing
pieces as far as i can tell. The table raises in the front to set depth of cut and pivots in the rear. This saw was for ripping and cross cutting only as the table and arbor do not tilt.I couldn't find any serial or shop number anywhere on the saw.I really don't know much about Crescent Machine Company to add any more info about this saw but I'am sure Keith Rucker might be able to add some info on what model it might be.
