This was acquired off of ebay for a whopping $50 dollars. It was originally manufactured in Williamsport. The seller said her father used it in his sawmill business. I have every thing freed up but have yet to mount a motor to it. It has quite a contraption to feed the blade along the length of the table. A flat belt runs over a large pulley at the front (fence end) of the machine. The power is then transmitted to a clutch assy. activated by a foot pedal. By stepping on the pedal one closes the clutch and drives power to a sprocket and chain pulling the carrige forward. This also lifts the large weight on the side of the mahcine. When the carrige reaches the end and the pedal is released. the clutch loosens and that weight that was lifted supplies the power to retract the carrige. an air shock at the carriges back position slows the carrige to a stop instead of having an impact.
