picked up this band saw out of a one man shop in nh. he had upgraded to a 20+" yates american. found it through the classifieds on this site. only cost $150, but it needs a motor, upper wheel bearings, and tires. i don't think i will strip it down, rather fix the problems then use as is. could deffinitley use a paint job though. i have worked quite a bit on the wt 14" and loved it. i hope this saw performs as well. also the table tilt mechanism has not been cracked as is common with the 16". (people moving them by the table i think) in fact i couldn't find any cracks or welds at all. well worth the two hour drive (one way) from mass. currently soaking the thrust bearings, and ordering tires and bearings.
