The saw was purchased by my grandfather in 1960 and was well taken care of until 1972 when he passed away. It was then stored in my dad's garage until last year 2006 when I talked him out of it for sentimental reasons. The table extensions have the original paint on them and one was new in the box when I got it. The paint is a strange very dark purple.
I have the original stand and am in the process of bead blasting it and repainting it with a 1961 Pontiac color we found was a very near match for the original. I installed the modern off on safety switch and the acrilic fence protection. It has a Wagner motor on it when I got it which was 1/2 hp and I put a Baldor 1 hp on it as it should have had. Motors were originally purchased separately from the saw in the 1960's. I also have copies of the original paperwork in case someone needs a copy contact me and I will gladly send you a copy electronically.
