1974 Powermatic 225, 24", 4 knife cutterhead planer. Has a sectional infeed roller and chipberaker. A knife grinder, jointer, and two extra sets of blades were included. The motor is being replaced with a Baldor, 3ph, 10hp, 3450 rpm. The motor pulley is 5.5" and the cutterhead pulley 4". This gives a cutterhead rpm of 4744 and a cpm of 18,975. This is within the recommended PM speeds.

This machine came from a Government wood crafts shop and does not appear to have been used much. I traded a Powermatic 180 for this machine to member Cristobal. This was a straight up trade but the catch was that I had to deliver from eastern NC to Little Rock, AR, 1,000+ miles. I also only had 3 days to do this. Kriss needed a 180 for his shop on the Pacific coast of Mexico, had to leave almost immediately, and didn't want to ship/rig the 225.
