Well, here it is. A machine that I never thought I'd buy. What can I say? It happened along, it winked, and that was that.

This little guy is just the right size for my shop. Found locally, it's pretty complete. The ways and adjustments are nice and tight and the action seems pretty smooth. It needs bearings badly, though.

The original zolatone has been covered up with blue hammerite. The previous owner said that "he just wanted to protect it from rust", so I imagine that the original paint was in bad shape. That's what I keep telling myself, at least.

Included the original base and all of the various knobs and interesting hardware, including the anti-kickback pawls. Also included is the rotary planer attachment. I don't think I'll be using that. Saw came with the usual assortment of 7 1/4" blades. I wonder if the previous owner would have sold it if he knew its true capacity?

Oh, and Rick, the motor serial number is 57071185.

Update: Original carriage bearings are marked Fafnir 200KDD45. Nachi 81004 seems to be a proper cross, purchased from Original Saw Company.
