Well picked up another smooth running Oliver by accident because it wasn't the main machine I was going after but the seller offered it to me as an add on. Lots of juicy rationalizations for that scenario; Im already there, Ive got room on the trailer, won't cost me anymore gas to get it home, etc. etc.
This is a 5 HP, 220 volt only, 3450 RPM direct drive motor. It came with the original Oliver fence but no other tooling, somebody must have beat me to that. This was a pattern shop machine and is in great shape, no breaks or repairs of any kind. It started life with gray paint and was repainted a different shade of gray w/yellow trim, at some point. The paint is a little thin now, but no rust so it would be an easy restoration. Like I said it is a very smooth running machine, just the way you like em. Its also a heavy duty beast and my favorite part is the tilting and rotating table. How can anybody live without that?
