Continuing my trend of buying machines anywhere but Texas, I bought this one from a machinery dealer in Minniapolis. I was visiting family for Christmas and met up with fellow OWWM'ers Eric Tuck, Ray Muno and Doug Broberg.

I could not believe how large this machine was, especially for a bench top model. Everything was tight and it came equipped with a single phase motor.

I took the salesman's card and went home in a few days. I kept thinking about this thing, so I wrote to Eric and asked him if he could pick up and store it until I could get it down here. When he agreed, I called the salesman and gave him my credit card number.

Funny thing is, I had just bought a Delta 17" DP in November. That one was sitting up in Indianapolis. This one just spoke to me.

It took about three months, but I caught a ride from Josh Coder to Dallas. Allen Ciemian stored it until he came down to Austin and handed it off to Jamie Norwood. I finally made it up to Manor a few months ago to finally take posession.

I haven't even cleaned it up yet. I'll just put it to use as is. Once I restore the Delta, I may look at taking this one apart for its restoration.
