Ekstrom Carlson 123 Scroll Sander, Serial #58-135, 1958. 2-15-08

Hey,
I just finished restoring this one. For the sake of accuracy, this one must have began life with the overhead idler arm, which would make it the Model 123. This one is missing that part so it is now in essence an Ekstrom Carlson model #23 Scroll sander very similar to the Oliver model # 190. Some say this is better than an Oliver. At any rate this is a very rare and desirable machine and if you've never used one you don't know what you're missing! These are very handy machines to have around.
She got a tear down and paint job and the only mechanical issues were new idler roller bearings installed and a new panther 400 drive belt. It tracks great, runs super smooth and super quite just the way you like em. Was missing the original side door and I made a nice replacement for her. Comes with a sanding form, copy of original brochure, and 10 new x 103 x 100 grit belts. It is original 1 HP Howell 240/480 Volt 3 phase motor, currently wired for 240 volts. Comes with 10, #10AWG SO cord and L15-30P plug. This baby is plug and play condition and ready for your next sanding detail project and since I have 4 scroll sanders its time to thin the herd.
