After learning of W/T under the Craftsman section of this site I started trying to put a collection of these intriguing little tools together off of eBay. (I'm still looking for the shaper.)Except for the saw to the left which has it's own onboard "Commander" motor, they are all running off the "Companion" motor below via a series of pulleys and jack shafts. Several of them are powered by leather treadle sewing machine belts. All are Jersey City except for the Plainfield table saw in the center which is like the one Dan McCallum has posted below. The table saw on the left I'm guessing is an experimental prototype? It is rather crude with no adjustment knobs - only machine bolts. Were they trying to learn how to build a table saw perhaps in the 20's?

Note - This entry was edited to move it to the Combo Machine category. The original entry date was 7/31/2008. DG
