I found this Powermatic 72 table saw on eBay ($1200) last May (2008). the saw used to belong to Boeing, i picked it up in Seattle. other than that I don't know it's history.
The 5 horse motor runs great, the bearings at the blade are functioning but not in the best of shape, I replaced the pulley at the bearings as it was all torn up from hitting the insert. the top is usable but has seen better days, and the insert will need replacing, but works for now. I have been using the saw as a ripping saw. it goes through 6/4 walnut like butter
