Found this through another owwm'r. The guy I bought it from lived in a small coal mining town in VA. He was hurt in a mining accident and was getting rid of all his stuff. This drill press was purchased from an Airforce auction a year ago from when I bought it in early 2007. The guy didn't do anything to it yet except try and take a grinder to some of the paint on the cast iron head. I bought it for 400 bucks which I thought was fair based on that the machine had all the orginal equipment including the rarely included OEM spindle cap. It has a 1hp motor on it and all new bearings. I have the original wiper holders for the ways but another owwm'r made some aluminum wiper holders for me that I think are really cool. This is the 16 speed model with the jackshaft and ram stops.
