Comments:
I bought my 113.29920 10-Inch Craftsman Bench Saw around 1980. I responded to a classified ad in the newspaper. I am the third owner of this saw. The after market extensions are the workmanship of someone from one of the major aircraft companies. Either Boeing or Douglas, I'm sorry, I can't remember what the seller told me now. At any rate, they are made of heavy aircraft aluminum. Strong and durable, however not much good for sliding wood across. Sometimes leaves a mark on the stock and doesn't allow the stock to slide very easily. But I live with it. The biggest drawback with the saw is its rip fence. Not very easy to set up and often not too stable. My next purchase will be a new after market fence. Most probably the Vega, although I am not ruling out a Mulecab. The saw works great otherwise. I have made many projects on it.

I've been told by a gentleman posting on Wood Online that his father purchased this model saw, brand new, in 1956. I don't doubt it, but so far I haven't been able to verify it. He has sent me a copy of the booklet that came with the saw. I will try to send it along as soon as I can.
