Comments:
Purchased this saw complete and working with original parts around 1990 for $200, which included delivery on a cold February night in Connecticut. Working parts included two buss fuses with "1948" dates on them, located in the manual switch box (which is certainly old, but not original.) It is not a restoration project (yet), just a working saw. That explains the addition of a Biesemeyer fence around 1994, and just recently a Baldor 2HP motor, as the original WT acquired a short. This motor 'almost' fits. As noted in figure 2, it's longer than the WT, and this currently limits the tilt of the arbor to about 30 degrees instead of a full 45 degrees, as you can infer from figure 3 and the close proximity of motor and cabinet. This saw does not look quite as nice as Harry's or WTSMLLC's full restorations, but your pictures are inspiring.
