The old fellow who I bought it from said it came out of a sawmill in Tampa,Florida in the 1970's. I heard about the machine from people that he had done
work for years ago (also had a sawmill). It has a tag riveted to the machine that says-Rebuilt by P.B. Yates in 1925, but it is a hall and brown machine. He was considering scrapping it but wanted to see saved since it was still usable. I got it for the going scrap price at the time (10 cent a pound).He threw the overhead line shaft, champion blower setup and 10 inch pipe, and 8 additional side heads. I feel very fortunate to have got it.
