Comments:
I don't have much history on this lathe other than it came from a school in the Portland Metro area. It showed up on Craigslist, sat there for a few days taunting me and I had a string of helpful OWWM'ers emailing me letting me know that it was there. I finally couldn't resist any longer and went and made the deal.

I'm not sure I like the color scheme, it sounded good at the time. It kind of reminds me of a pair of golf shoes my uncle had in the 60's.... I despise golf and the uncle wasn't that nice either.

The lathe came with a big replacement starter and push button station bolted to the front but I was able to remove that, put a starter in the original can under the speed lever and salvage the original drum switch for the speeds and the on/off. The banjo is a Delta that probably ended up on it at the school. I would like to find an original eventually but the Delta works fine for now. It runs good and should make a nice little lathe.
