Bought at a flea market 4 years ago from a guy. The brass tag, which you can't see very well in the pictures says: property of the
state of illinois. Guy was asking $200. We settled on $180. This was my first restore. It was covered in Klown Kolors. Orange,bright blue, and yellow. Yeah, you can imagine. I dismantled,media blasted all the cast iron and the stand. Then polished all the knobs etc.
The square sided miter and the dust port came from to seperate other deals. Painted w/Sherwin-Williams industrial color I pulled from the WIKI. This one is a user. Dusted her off for pics. This is a great sander!!!! I actually have another (belt driven) that I got for $60. I'll post that one another day.
